3rd Leading Cause for Black Hair Breakage!

As we all know, chemicals are the 1st leading cause to hair breakage. Perms, Texturizers, Hair Dyes, Relaxers, etc. Are all the main cause to breaking our gorgeous hair.

The 2nd leading cause is Heat. We love to put heat on our hair to give it that straight look, that big curl look, etc. From flat irons, curling irons, pressing combs, etc. Most of the time women put heat on their hair after putting a perm on it. Two forms of damage. Then wonder why they see hair all around the bathroom sink! Your Hair is breaking off because it isn't getting enough moisture, and too much mistreatment! This must stop in order to grow longer healthier hair.

The 3rd leading cause is Braiding/Pulling hair too tightly from the scalp! I know this method too well. Before I got more in depth with healthy hair regimens, and hair in general. Before I cut all of my hair off to become natural, I knew that braiding too tightly and pulling my hair was not good. I knew this...It pulled out my freaking hair on the sides, but I didn't know the extreme.

Pulling your hair too tightly from from the scalp whether to do a pony tail, quick weave, braided style or what ever can cause scalp damage, long term hair loss, hair breakage, and bald spots. Who wants this?! I don't. Since becoming natural I've taken full caution on what I do with my hair. Even brushing the hair too hard can do similar things as braiding or pulling the hair too tightly! So be careful next time you decide to style your hair. After all, it isn't the style that makes you look good, it's healthy hair that makes you look good!

So be cautious and treat your hair with care! You'll be happy you did,
I promise!

  1. My mum has good skin. So I just briefly took one of her SKII(www.geocities.jp/hongkong_skii/index_e.htm) to use, which I assume is a moisturizer. It's good man I tell you! She gave me a small bottle of eye cream before but the effects weren't that great and I stopped using. But my mum's moisturizer is good! I can feel it reacting once I applied it
