Caring for your Natural Hair

One of the most easiest things to do is care for your hair. Many think it's one of the hardest things, but that it is definitely not. I've pressed the meaning of a hair regimen. This should be the first thing that you adopt when deciding to go Natural or maintain your natural curls. If you don't already have a hair regimen. .
Please get one, this is more than important. Thanks to EHow, below tells you how to create a weekly regimen for your lovely Natural Hair.

Things You'll Need:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Moisturizer
  • Wide-toothed comb
  • Spray bottle
  • (Preferably Natural for all products)
  1. Wash and condition hair as usual.
  2. Add a moisturizer of your choice and evenly distribute throughout hair. Take your time and use a wide-toothed comb, if needed. If you want to define your curls, only use your fingers to apply moisturizer and not the wide-toothed comb.
  3. Allow hair to air dry. If you don’t have time, you can use a blow dryer on a low setting. Once dry, take notice of how your hair reacts. If it feels brittle or has no type of shine, you may want to add more moisturizer.
  4. Observe the condition of your hair. If hair is still extremely brittle, lightly spray hair with a little water and add a light oil, to help soften hair. On the other hand, decrease the amount of moisturizer or oil you apply if the hair is weighed down or greasy to the touch once dry. It all depends on the look and feel you want. And remember it may take a few days for the natural oils in your hair to develop.
  5. Continue to add or subtract products until you find out what your hair likes and dislikes. You may only need to adjust the amount of product you apply to your hair to get your desired look. Also, wash your hair at least once a week to reduce product build up.
